Amazing how much we listen to our teachers and never actually take action. Equally amazing what happens when we do

There is a massive difference between "hearing" and "listening to".

I have "heard" George Hartmann talk about going through the true leads that we have, making sure that they are actively receiving emails. I've also "heard" him talk about Daily Methods of Operation.

Well today, I actively listened to those messages. I've been slack at the Facebook side of what I do of late for various reasons (excuses). I was up at 5AM with my wee one and decided (key word) to procrastinate later and do what had been working so well for me.

I spent 4 great hours meeting people on Facebook, sending invites and hearing positive responses from very cool people.

Instead of finishing at the end of that, I remebered what George had said about going through the true hot leads in the SponsorDaddy system and ensuring all were receiving emails.

Because I had engaged in positive action already, I was really ready to do that. I went through all hot leads in the system and made sure they were actively receiving emails from the system.

Guess what! I went out to play football (soccer) with my wee one in the afternoon as the day was winding down. I was out for about three hours. As I was making dinner, I thought I'd check my emails.

What a fabulous sight it was to see someone I have still never met by phone or in person sign up to our team in that time. Very very very cool. This person must have signed because I re-started the emails in the system.

Moral of the story. George describes what he does on a daily basis. We can hear it or really listen to it. His Daily Method of Operation inspired me. That led to me changing "hearing" what he said about our hot leads into actively "listening to" what he said, which has resulted in a team mate that I am yet to even speak to!

I am massively fortunate to count George as a friend and equally fortunate to count him as a mentor (when I LISTEN)!
